terms of serviceBy commissioning me in any kind of way, you are agreeing to the terms of service below. Please read and understand these terms before making your request. :)i. general termsPlease be as clear and specific as possible when describing your request. The more details you provide me with, the easier it will be to successfully fulfill your request.Provide character sheets, photo references, pose references, color palettes, ect. when applicable.Specify the size/dimensions/resolution you need if this is relevant to your request. If you want the commission to look like work I have done previously, please refer to the piece(s) you like in your request. If your request is pornographic, defamatory, or hateful, I will not under any circumstances accept the request. In general, I have the right to accept and decline requests at my discretion.ii. paymentI accept payment via Ko-fi, Cashapp, and PayPal invoice. You must pay at least half of the agreed commission fee up-front.Payment plans can be arranged for pieces exceeding 50 USD (some up-front payment is still required). If Ko-fi, Cashapp, and Paypal are not available in your region, I am open to using an alternative payment service.I expect payments to be made as agreed unless there are extenuating circumstances (with evidence legitimating said circumstances) preventing you from doing so. In other words, for both my sake and yours, please do not request a commission if you are not sure you can pay for it.I have no specific policy for refunds at this time. They will be handled on a case-by-case basis.iii. processI will provide you with process updates as necessary or as requested.iv. customer satisfactionI want to fulfill your request to the best of my ability, and part of this means following the general terms I have established above. I am not willing to re-do an entire piece (without additional compensation) if the provided information was insufficient or directly conflicts with your present complaint. However, I am happy to make small changes (color fixes, minor adjustments to poses, ect.) or fix any larger issues that stemmed from miscommunication/misinterpretation on my end at no additional expense.v. copyright / usage policyThe client has the rights to the commissioned artwork once payment is finalized. This includes both personal and commercial use. There are a few privileges I will retain, however, including:a. posting the work to my own website/blog/ect. with appropriate watermarking and the disclaimer that it is a commissioned work and belongs to the client.b. showing other potential clients previous commissions, including being featured as example works on publicly viewable webpages (with the same conditions as described above in "a").c. being credited as the artist if the commission is being used commercially, unless this requirement is waived with an additional fee. Attribute work to my screen-name and link back to this website if possible. Credit is not required for personal use.d. commercial work for my purposes is defined as any art sold as a product or as part of a product (e.g. T-shirts, album covers, book covers, packaging for merchandise). Illustrations that are associated with a for-profit venture but are not being profited off of directly are considered "personal use." An icon illustrated for a YouTube channel, for example, is considered "personal use" for my purposes, so long as the icon is not being used as/on merchandise, even if the channel itself is monetized. Conversely, if the icon is used on merchandise (prints, shirts, mugs, ect.) or printed on the packaging (packing slip, stickers, tags, ect.) it falls under "commercial use," and you must credit me as the creator. If you intend on using my work commercially, please make your intent known as this may affect pricing.I assume these privileges by default. If you (the client) require 100% exclusive rights to the image, please make this clear immediately as this may affect the commission price or my willingness to accept your request.
